Tribute to Achievement

This is an annual dinner held by the Girl Scouts of Chicago which is their biggest fundraising event of the season. A hotel ballroom is filled with past girl scouts who are way beyond their green sash days and now many are in top positions in their companies. It's inspiring to see them, hear their stories of being a Girl Scout, what it taught them and what they can do to insure that the future of Girl Scouts continues. This year the chairs of the event were Cathy Coughlin, CEO of AT&T Midwest and Deborah DeHass, Vice Chairman and Regional Managing Partner of Deloitte. As they gave their pitches to sponsor troops for CEO camp (they pair girls up with CEOs of big companies) and other great events, Janet Davies lent her humor and charm to keep the evening fun and light. But beware...there are really cute Brownies and Girl Scouts waiting to sell their boxes of cookies to unsuspecting diners.
Enjoy the pics.
