Boss Ladies

I belong to a group of women who meet up every couple of months, drink wine, and just talk. The only requirement to being in the group is that you own your own business, you are an entrepenuer. In February, I held the party and I shot every one of us who came to play, eat yummy cupcakes and, of course, drink wine. We even had a pow wow where we talked about our goals and we've got lined up. It was a great night.

Papa's Feet

My mom told me that the first thing she did when the doctors handed me to her was count my toes. Weird, huh? But I think these pictures explain it all. These are images of my grandfather's feet at the tender age of 91. Now, they may not be the prettiest and most of these are in black & white b/c after spending 9 decades on two limbs, hell, yours might not look so great either. Notice the toe next to his big toe. It's actually two toes coming out of the same root. My papa has 6 toes on his right foot. For some reason I never noticed, though I always heard the story, until last summer when he was in town and we had just gone swimming in my parents' pool.

Tommy's 3rd Birthday

Tommy celebrated his 3rd birthday in style at an indoor water park at a local community center. It was a cold and snowy day, I was just coming down with something, but I rolled up my jeans and jumped into the water to make sure I got the great "action" shots of all the kids having a fantastic time together.

After playing the water everyone went to another room for lox & bagels. Tommy's brother, Sammy & his friends found a bird's nest that was right outside the window. They were completely mesmerized.

All in all, a fun time for everyone.

Wish Collection

December in Chicago. The perfect time for hot chocolate, holiday parties, fur, &....outdoor photo shoots. Brrrrr. It was 26 degrees outside but we did it and the girls were wearing next to nothing. We took the hood by storm and I was thrilled with the outcome. These girls were terrific and we had a great time.
