Aria's X-Mas Pictures

Last year I was unable to shoot Aria for her Christmas card that her mom, good friend Christina, sent out to the family. This year, even though things were just as hectic, we were able to get the job done and pretty well I think. Christina sent out 2 versions of this card, one with a picture of Aria on the couch on the white sheet(my personal favorites) and another one with Aria standing by the wagon and the Santa on the gray background in my studio.

Jack

On November 13th, 2007, just days before we left for Lake Tahoe, Jack was born, 9lbs 9 oz, not a lightweight by any means. We had the chance to see his sweet face right before we left town. Craig and I now have a niece and a nephew to dote on. He had a broken clavical from the birth but recovered nicely and is now feeling tip top. My mother in law calls him "Moose". About 2 weeks prior, Sylvia broke her leg playing on the playground. Now the people have two children that need to be carried everywhere. That's what we call timing. Welcome to the family, Jack!

Lake Tahoe

Desperately searching for something fun to do over Thanksgiving, Katie invited Craig and I up to her family's cabin in South Lake Tahoe. For 5 days we played Uno, drank a ton of wine, hiked and saw many beautiful sites. It's was a beautiful and relaxing time. Just what we needed as we had just wrapped one job, were in the middle of a second, and about to start a third. Kate's good friends, Doug & Elise joined us for the whole trip, others joined us just for Thanksgiving dinner, & two more couples joined us for the following weekend. And what cabin would be complete without the love of a puppy, Ruby was a rockstar and Mary & Scott's dog Bella was a sweet, golden, joy.

Street Casting for International Truck & Engine

In between jobs I picked up a small but challenging project street casting men & women who drive trucks made by the International brand. Hitting truck stops all over the state I found unsuspecting drivers getting gas, going to the bathroom and taking breaks to pose for pictures in between cities. Because their schedules are so erratic we weren't able to make everyone work who the client liked but Shawn and her husband Charles were perfect models for the shoot and Joe was also a terrific subject.
