JoshandStephanie

These two are just terrific. It was close to the hottest day in July when we took these pics at about 3pm so the sun was extremely strong. I had to work hard to convince them to take off their sunglasses, to stop the sweating and get the dogs attention. They couldn't stop laughing at all the noises I made to get Barak's attention. As you can see it worked. I chose to go under the tree to get a completely different look without moving too far, it was hot, and it gave us a nice break from the direct sunlight. I remember that I was sweating my tail off just walking from the car to the meeting place. They didn't pick any of these pics for their save the date card but they are my personal favorites of the bunch.

Ashley

Ashley is another actor that I met through a casting. Her sister is really into the business and works for an agency. She was hired for a Coca Cola shoot and had gone out and bougt a Coca Cola t-shirt to wear to the casting. Combine that with her energy and the fact that she looked like the main girl they hired and she was a shoe in. We had a really good time talking about music and life and art. Her attitude totally allowed me to get really silly and have fun with everything. It was a shame she had some printing problems with her final cards. I'd like to try to correct that for her. Enjoy the pics.

Angela

I got really ambitious when Angela called and wanted headshots. Before she arrived I had been knee deep in the studio's storage atic looking for backdrops, which we used, but sometimes simpler is better. We had met at a casting and I just loved her energy and fantastic afro. She showed up just having her hair straigtened and I was disappointed but had been planning such huge things for her and she was so filled with fun ideas that we had no choice but to rock it. Bringing her own hair & make-up person was a huge plus. I want to make that option available more often. It really does help.
Enjoy the pics!
