Construction Company Portraits

I've been shooting interiors for this major construction company in the city. Yellow is a signature color for them so everyone was to be shot on yellow. For their purposes, they will crop in on these images, but they wanted them 3/4 length so they had room to play. Memos went out, everyone in the company was told, but with 100 men and women who work in construction, putting on a suit was no ordinary task. Many buttons couldn't be buttoned, and many came with their jeans and work boots underneath. They even still had their keys and tools attached to their pants. Too funny. I chose a few to represent the shoot. Unfortunately I don't have a pic of the room we were in. It was a workout room from the 70's, equipped with Jane Fonda's workout VHS collection. In between takes my assistants and I worked on our pecs and lats. Chester was one of the best dressed of the bunch. He has been the manager of their building for the last 60 years and jumped at the chance to have his portrait taken. Check out the cuffs, he looked like a sharp dressed man. Enjoy!!
