The one thing that Craig kept talking about all the way up to the lodge was the beauty of a shore lunch. When your guide takes the fish you caught and cooks it for you for lunch along with potatoes and beans. If you don't catch anything then all you can eat for lunch is the potatoes and beans which aren't nearly as enjoyable. The first time we went out with the guide we thought we had everything we needed, but since we didn't, all we ate were the potatoes and beans. This time we did it right and Craig finally starting catching fish so he was pretty excited as well. When it was all done it was delicious and we tried to re-create it at home but it was nothing like the original.
