The shoot was supposed to be outside on a beautiful day, but you can only prepare so much for Mother Nature. Luckily I always have my travel lighting kit with me and set up some beautiful light in their family room. After getting the list of group portraits out of the way I got to have some fun with all the kids as they played around, with their toys, with each other, and with me. Of course many kids only have limited patience in front of the camera, so sometimes you have to improvise, just to get the shot, even if it means walking to the beat of a very different drummer ;).
