Another of the American Jewish Committes prestigious award dinners, this one honoring Thomas A. Cole, Chair and Executive Committee of Sidley Austin LLP. The evening began with a rousing performance from the Chicago Children's Choir and was followed later by a very powerful speech from University of Chicago's Professor of Law and author Geoffrey R. Stone. It was a tremendous event with approximately 360 people in attendance. Needless to say, I was exhausted when it was over.
