End of Kindergarten Party

For the end of kindergarten at SSDS, my favorite client threw a pool party for all of the kids in the class. In addition to tons of noodles to play with in the pool there were activities for the lawn like the balloon toss, an obstacle course, and running with an egg(OK, a cotton ball) on a spoon. What cracked me up the most was how most of the kids figured out how to cheat pretty quickly, holding that cotton ball with a thumb, and when the boys got bored they turned their balloons to the pretty girls who were hired as extra hands to keep watch over them, smart boys!!! Enjoy the pics!

Carla's Puppies-Part 1

My neighbor bred his Shih Tzu with another puppy mix that he purchased in Chicago. Wilson, the Shih Tzu, and my dog Sadie have been buddies for a while and Carla, the mommy, was a wonderful addition to the dog crew in my 'hood. Newborn puppies are so funny looking, kind of like cute rats. TJ, the owner, sold all 7 puppies with their shots. These pictures were taken when the pups were a week old. Their eyes weren't open and they loved to climb all over each other. For the first couple of days the proud papa wasn't allowed to get near his babies, Carla was protective, but she let us get a close look. Enjoy!

Ajax

Ajax is Nicole & Brent's dog and is practically the highlight of any trip to Minnesota. He is full of energy and tries to climb into my suitcase when I leave. I don't know if it's me he loves or the smell of my Sadie all over but we get along very well. He's a super cuddler and will try to make out with you if you let him. Right now he has a bum knee but it hasn't curbed his energy too much. After the wedding he's going to get that knee fixed and hopefully he'll be back to his old self in no time!
Enjoy!

Nicole's Bridal Shower

After a fun night of drinking, more drinking, and dancing, we got our bride to be dressed and practically on time to her bridal shower. Of course getting her a Bloody Mary was the first order of business. Then it was onto the fun, a menu designed especially for the occasion, a cookbook we all had submitted recipes for, and opening presents with lots of enthusiasm. Deborah was in charge of the ribbon bouquet, Jamie kept track of everything she got, and Karen ran the show. It was a beautiful day and my burger was very tasty!!!
Enjoy!!

Mother's Day Brunch

For Mother's Day we were invited over to my in-laws for an afternoon of food and pajamas. After a delicious meal Jack showed us how he can roll over and Sylvia got her fill of tickles! Everyone had a great time.
Enjoy!
