Rehearsal Dinner

Michelle & Zach's rehearsal dinner was at Bucca di Beppo in downtown San Diego. We were a rowdy crowd and I don't think the restaurant was ready for us. Friends & family members gave toasts and roasts while Zach's dad MC'ed the evening. Uncle Larry brought the house down with help from his writer & son, cousin Stevie.
Overall it was a lovely evening and everyone had a great time.

The Rehearsal

They call it a "Rehearsal Dinner" when there is a dinner the night before the wedding. Is that b/c we have to practice eating & drinking? Not my family! It's because the bridal party actually rehearses how they are going to walk down the isle. Our rehearsal was during a beautiful but windy evening along the San Diego skyline. What a beautiful view! Turn on those waterworks, I hope they save some tears for the actual wedding.

Hospitality Suite

Something that was so nice about my sister's wedding was simply that it wasn't mine. I felt like I actually got to visit with people and really enjoy my parent's hospitality suite. They enjoyed it as well as they entertained friends & family. During this gathering, however, only the women really enjoyed the gathering while the men were dying to see who was going to the World Series.

Michelle & Zach-Just Days Away

Unwinding with Michelle & Zach, only a few days before their wedding, I snapped some photos while we monkeyed around on the couch. Zach just looooooves having his picture taken. Can't you tell?

Dress Fitting

As part of our duties before the wedding, my mom & I went to see my sister get her final dress fitting before her wedding. The emotions ran high and she looked fantastic. Afterwards, we picked cuz Erica up from the airport and headed for some serious brunching. Yummy!

Wind & Sea Beach

For my sister's wedding in October in San Diego, my family and I went up early to help nail down any final details for the upcoming event. It was a seriously stressful week but we found a few minutes to go down to the beach right by her house, watch the surfers and the sunset. Of course Michelle's Dog, Millhouse, accompanied us and I got a nice photo of Michelle & my mom enjoying the setting sun.
